A little about Coach Warner.

After playing for Chapin High School he earned a scholarship to play at Eastern Oregon University. When his playing career ended, he assisted the program as the Tight End coach. When he returned to El Paso, he served the Franklin community as a social studies teacher and was named “Teacher of the Year” for the 2016-2017 school year. He was able to start his coaching career at Franklin High School.  Over the past 10 years at Franklin he worked his way up from a volunteer to Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator. He served as the O.C. for 5 years before becoming the Head Football Coach at Chapin High School.

Mission Statement

“To provide a positive learning environment where young men strive to be better individuals and learn crucial life lessons through playing football.”

A Word from Coach Ryan C. Warner

Welcome to the 2020-2021 Football season. I am honored and excited to begin my first year as the Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Chapin High School. I want to thank all of our players, parents, teachers, administrators and alumni for your support. As we try to continue our winning tradition, we also have another objective as a football program. We want our players to leave our program and become great citizens, husbands, and fathers that serve as role models in our community. Our program will stand for Commitment, Attitude, Discipline, Effort and Trust. We will build a program around integrity and character. My staff and I believe in a positive approach to the guidance of our student athletes. We as coaches must be people of character, honest, loyal, and sincere. We feel that our players must be students first with athletics playing a positive role in the total athletic experience. As coaches, we will be supportive and active in promoting academic and athletic achievement. Please support our young men as they represent our proud Chapin community.
